    FAQ's

    Is this scale NTEP approved? Legal for trade? I'm a recycler, is this the scale for me?
    A: Yes, yes, and yes!  If you're buying and selling based off the weights your are getting almost every state in the USA mandates the you need an NTEP approved scale.
    Does this scale have a print option?
    A: Yes, this scale is equipped with a RS232C interface which allows the scale indicator to sent data to a PC or a printer. 
    I need a printer. Can you recommend one with this scale?
    A: This PA8101 indicator works well with the MP20 printer or TMU295 printer.
    You can also use our Winwedge software to help capture specific data to your computer.
    Is this scale calibrated or do I have to calibrate it myself?
    A: Yes, all our scales are assembled, calibrated, inspected, and tested here in the USA before they are shipped to you. So the scale will arrive pre-calibrated to simply take off the pallet, level the scale, and plug in and begin weighing. You will not need any IT guy or anybody else to set up this scale.
    I need to roll the object to be weighed on this scale, can I add a ramp to this scale?
    A: Yes, you can add a ramp (not pictured) to this scale. See the spec box below for ramp prices and details.  Adding a ramp may increase your freight charge.
    How much cable is there between the floor scale base and the indicator (digital readout)?
    A: The standard cable length is about 20' feet.
    I received the floor scale and indicator but can't find the cable. Where is it?
    A: The cable is tucked underneath the floor scale and wrapped up near the junction box.  Do not yank the cable out but gently unravel it.
