This rugged cast aluminum weighing plate is light enough to accommodate portability yet large enough for any type of vehicle. The bright orange industrial paint is baked on to the aluminum alloy chassis. CAS platforms not only look tough, they're built tough! With a variety of capacities & higher resolutions (1/2000 - 1/2500) the RW can be used in almost any application. Solid rubber ramps provide maximum grip and balance in even the most severe unleveled conditions. These rubber ramps also reduce the total weight of the product. The RW can even accommodate for virtually any vehicle's axel arrangement with the simple use of "Dummy Plates." Theses are simply solid rubber spacers of different sizes that can be placed between multiple platforms.

Police Departments & Municipalities
If you are a police department or agency of the state you will need the NTEP (legal for trade) version of the wheel weighers. One of many applications is for police officers pulling over potentially overloaded trucks. Four of these scales can be carried in a police cruiser and handled by one officer.
Overweight trucks are a hazard on the road because they alter the safety characteristics of trucks. Brakes rated for a safe stopping distance can not stop an overweight truck in a safe distance or time. Officers can identify a potentially overweight truck by its slow, belabored rate of acceleration after a traffic light stop, by extreme compression of the suspension system, bulges in the tires or by an officer's judgement call.
These wheel weigher systems pay for themselves by the tickets officers write which goes back to the municipality's revenue.

To weigh vehicles you will need at least 2 wheel weighers. Each wheel weigher comes with one cable (included). You will also need one digital indicator as well.
So the total equipment you'll need is 2 wheel weighers and one indicator.

Both models (RW-10P & RW-20P) are both 35.4in x 19.7in x 1.5in and weigh around 105lbs each. The indicator (required) is around 19lbs.
